Engage your bandhas! Have you heard this cue in class and wondered what it means? Or have you wondered why bandhas are important in a yoga asana practice? Led by Sarah Filzen, this workshop will cover the classical energy "locks" as well as explore the structural bandhas critical for postural alignment and stability in every yoga pose. The three-hour session will include some discussion and a slow but strong physical practice. All levels of practitioners are welcome!

Yoga teacher attendees will receive three continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance in the Techniques, Training and Practice category.

Fascia surrounds every part of our body and forms an amazing web of communication to each and every part!

Taught by Sarah Filzen, this workshop will explore the role of fascia and include a variety of techniques to access and release it through a combination of yoga poses and self-massage with a focus on the lower body (glutes, hips, legs and feet). The three-hour session will include a mix of lecture and gentle, experiential practice, leaving your mind stimulated and your body blissed! All practitioners are welcome.

Yoga Teacher attendees will receive three continuing education credits through Yoga Alliance: 1 credit of Anatomy and 2 credits of Techniques.

Please bring 2 tennis balls (or small yoga therapy balls) in a sock.

Spirited Punk Rock Yoga with Sarah Filzen of Healium Hot Yoga

This is not your typical yoga class. Healium Hot Yoga's Sarah Filzen will be leading a one hour (regular temperature) beginner/intermediate BYO mat yoga session inside the X-Ray Arcade with a killer punk rock soundtrack. Work up a good thirst — your admission includes a domestic beer or well drink of your choosing (or a non-alcoholic bev for those under 21) after the session.
