Sarah has been practicing and studying yoga for close to 30 years and teaching since 2000. Certified through the Temple of Kriya Yoga in Chicago with advanced certification from the Asheville Yoga Center in North Carolina where she studied with renowned teachers like Leslie Kaminoff, Gary Kraftsow, Doug Keller and Bryan Kest, she is influenced by the precise alignment of Iyengar Yoga, the breath and strength of Patabi Jois' Ashtanga Yoga, and the flow and grace of vinyasa yoga. Sarah is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an e-RYT 500 teacher as well as a YACEP (Continuing Education Provider).

In 2004 she received her Certified Ayurveda Educator certificate and incorporates the ancient healing techniques of Ayurveda into her yoga practice and teachings. Sarah developed and led the Registered Yoga Teacher Training Program at Kanyakumari Ayurveda and Yoga Wellness Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 2004 until the Center closed in 2016.

In 2017 Sarah, along with Meg Lucks of The Heart Revival, became the co-developer and director of the 200 Hour Yoga Alliance registered Yoga Teacher Training at Healium Hot Yoga in Bay View. As a Certified Education Provider through Yoga Alliance, she also offers continuing education workshops for yoga teachers at yoga studios in the Milwaukee area. Areas of speciality include Manual Asana Adjustments and Incorporating Ayurveda into Asana Classes. Along with the teacher training program and continuing education, Sarah teaches public classes at Healium Hot Yoga as well as weekly classes at Milwaukee area corporations and courses for students, faculty and staff at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
